Total Yarding: 786

Cattle numbers lifted and the quality improved with more cattle in prime condition. Yearlings made up the bulk of the yarding and there were only a few grown steers. Grown heifers were better supplied and around 150 cows were penned. Light cattle sold to similar prices while cattle with weight and cover sold to a stronger trend.

Trade steers were 15c to 20c stronger selling from 292c to 308c/kg. Heifers ranged from 276c to 295c/kg. Feeder steers gained 5c reaching 305c on heavy weight steers and heifers were 10c to 15c stronger from 210c to 278c/kg to feed on.

Grown steers reached 300c and 2 tooth heifers to process sold from 260c to 299c/kg. Light 2 score cows fell 15c, from 180c to 216c while the heavy 3 and 4 score cows jumped 10c to 20c to range from 210c to 270c with the prime 4 score cows averaging 260c/kg.
