Total Yarding: 2,402

Numbers increased to a record offering of cattle in a prime market. The yarding was plainer with more light weight cattle entering the market. Yearlings were well supplied and prime grown cattle were limited. Feeders were very active on most weights. Restockers were choosing carefully and paying for quality. Around 500 cows were offered in a cheaper market.

The plainer and lighter cattle to restockers eased 30c with steers selling from 220c to 260c and heifers making from 140c to 228c/kg. Vealers to restockers sold dearer with the steers selling to 318c and heifers to 288c/kg. Feeder steers eased 10c to 12c/kg on the medium weights and held firm in the heavier run. Prices made from 250c to 323c/kg. Medium weight heifers eased 9c, making from 235c to 276c/kg. Heavy trade cattle were limited due to feeder orders but the few that sold to the trade held firm, making from 275c to 286c/kg.

Grown steers reached 270c and a very good line of heavy 2 tooth heavy heifers reached 277c/kg. Cows were back 15c to 20c with the medium weight 2 score cows selling from 170c to 195c/kg. Heavy weights made from 185c to 232c/kg.
